Ebechun was born in a city right next to Hokkaido's capital, Sapporo. His head has a shape of a brick, known as "Renga Tori" specie, or "Brick Bird". He is always holding a Haruyutaka wheat, which makes him cry with emotion! The favorite food of Ebechun is of course, the Ebetsu Wheat.
